Testable Subject Areas on the Maryland Bar Examination
The Maryland Bar Examination consists of three parts: The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), the Maryland Essay Exam, and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT). The Maryland Essay Exam consists of ten essay questions prepared by the State Board of Law Examiners. The exam is administered over two days in February and July each year during the last week of the month that includes a Wednesday.
