Testable Subject Areas on the Ohio Bar Examination


The Ohio Bar Examination consists of three parts: The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), the Ohio essay exam, and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT). The Ohio essay exam includes 12 essays prepared by the Ohio Board of Bar Examiners. The exam is administered over 2½ days in February and July each year during the last week of the month that includes a Wednesday. The 2011 exam dates are February 22, 23, & 24 and July 26, 27, & 28.
