Testable Subject Areas on the Texas Bar Examination
The Texas Bar Examination consists of three sections: The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), the Texas essay exam, and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT). The Texas Essay exam includes 12 essay questions and 40 short-answer Procedure and Evidence (P&E) questions. The exam is administered over three days in February and July each year during the last week of the month that includes a Wednesday.
